Worship is Perfect Shared Love

We are created for fellowship with God.  We are destined to share love, value as a person, and a belonging with and towards God.  Because of God, we in Eternity will also will be able to share love and fellowship with one another as God intended with Him in Eternity.

God's act of creating us for fellowship with Him, means that He loves us, and He wants all of us to be a companion for eternity.  When we are Born-Again, we are changed from our fallen state from the separation caused by Adam and Eve, to the 100% absolute marking by the Holy Spirit to be in fellowship with Him for eternity.

If we were not created as eternal beings then we cannot be in fellowship with God as God is Eternal.  We are called by God to chose Him so that we can be with Him in Eternity, that involves us having the choice where the alternative is to be separated from Him for eternity.

  1. Worship is love in thought and action, where God is the recipient.
  2. God always gives us His love in return even when we don't feel it in our earthly lives.
  3. God gave His Love First so that we could be Born-Again by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior in our heart and mind
  4. In Eternity, worship will be the greatest pleasure that we will enjoy with God.
John 3:5-7

and

John 3:16-18

5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

A False Worship is what the Satanic World teaches

The Satanic World tries to teach everyone falsely how worship is done.  It seems to this author, that when

a pagan culture along with modern-day non-Christian religions, the worship of their god or gods is the opposite correct method of the God of the Bible.  As an extreme example, the ancient Mayan and other similar religions did many barbaric rituals such as human sacrifices.  Their worship and other non-Christian religions ceremonies consist of:

  1. Repeating mantras and prayers over and over.
  2. Have the potential of a fear of their lives if they do not conduct worship in the specific method.
  3. Often require difficult and painful methods.
  4. Are even told to give their lives, or murder others, as a sacrifice unto death to enter Heaven.

The previous required four methods listed of non-Biblical Religions have had their false purposes since the beginning to:

  1. Obtain some sort of reward with crops growing, hunting being successful, or
  2. Have eternal life, or
  3. Not having the pagan god killing them.

This view of worship of the pagan gods has caused:

  1. Incorrectly the belief that the true and only God is mean, always angry and does not love anyone.
  2. Incorrectly the belief that worship to the true and only God does not benefit anyone because bad things always happen.

Is There a Specific Way to Worship?

Sometimes, we see movies that are about detectives investigating forgeries of currency, art work, clothing, and many other types of merchandise that have high values that can attract criminal actions to create a forgery at a low creation cost to sell at a high value.  The movie characters state that the best way to know a forgery is to study the real currency, art work, clothing and other types of merchandise so that the detective can see things missing in the forgery that the real item does contain.

As an example, specific high-valued Renaissance painters have specific brush strokes that can be seen in the paint, and the paint had specific chemical qualities, that are almost impossible to duplicate.  Monetary currencies have embedded string or fabric in the paper along with highly detailed markings.

Sometimes there are questions regarding worship, that is related to what is real worship, such as:

  1. Does worship require kneeling?
  2. Does worship require praise and singing?
  3. Does worship require a specific place such as a Church, Old Testament Temple, or a specific location in a person's home?
  4. Does worship require long prayers?

The answers is none of the four are required in the Church Age Dispensation.  Doing any of the four are still worthy for worshiping God but they can be described as methods where the true requirement is knowing that worship is about:

Note:

Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
King David:

2 Samuel 6:14-15

and

2 Samuel 21-22

14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. 15 So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.

21 David retorted to Michal, “I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord. 22 Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes! But those servant girls you mentioned will indeed think I am distinguished!”

In the Old Testament Dispensation Period of Israel, after giving of the Law by Moses, required able body men to attend Passover but if a man, along with this family, were unable to worship at the Temple, then they could worship at their home or even their town's temple along with doing the require animal sacrifices.  When studying the approach to worship and living righteously, all the methods point Jesus Christ the Messiah promised in the Old Testament and given in the New Testament.  The New Testament gave us all a greater direct approach to our worship of God through Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

How Do We Worship of our God?

A Christian is never to do works for Salvation as Salvation is a Gift of God.  Rewards in Heaven are based on our works of putting them there.

Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

The scriptures impart that God has a great deal of rewards to give to us at the Judgment Seat of Christ if we have earned them.  Working, through Faith, in the five areas listed next can also be consider a type of worship.

Everything done through faith that:

  1. Developed our relationship with God during our life,
  2. Activities in God's Service,
  3. Faithfulness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
  4. Righteously suffering, and
  5. Overcoming sinful areas and obstacles in life through the Holy Spirit.

will contribute to rewards in Heaven.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Some Christians many not realize that when we do works, because of our love God and His enjoyment, then this is a type of worship.  Our worship is always required to be based on Faith in God.

Hebrews 11:6 and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

In the scriptures, the primary commonly know ways of worship are accurately and most importantly taught to be:

  1. A righteous relationship with God as our Creator who absolutely desires a loving and friendship with all of us.  See 2 Chronicles 7:14 and many others.
  2. Having a respectful awe of our God, knowing He is the source of everything we need for happiness, life and so much more.
  3. Knowing the Love from God surpasses all the Gifts that we can receive from God.
  4. Realizing that the love we have for God, and others who love God (Matthew 25:40), will result in the greatest happiness, which also means treating one another with respect, dignity and caring love.  See Matthew 25:40 and others.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
John 4:21-24 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

While we are on Earth

While we are on Earth, before entering Heaven, we can pray and worship God any many ways.  The traditional ways of attending Church, Singing, taking Communion, praying before going to bed are all worthy forms of worship and spending time with God.  For many decades, many of us have heard about selecting a place in our home to spend time in prayer and worship with God that starts in the morning, happens during the day and ends before going to sleep for the evening.

Worship is traditionally thought of something that involves activities that require kneeling, holding hands up in surrender, looking at religious icons to help in thinking about God.  There is more to worship that involves thinking about being directly before the Thrown of God with these requirements:

  1. Confessing one sins to God the Father and asking for forgiveness in Jesus Christ's name.
  2. Approaching the Thrown of God the Father in Jesus Christ's Name.
  3. Understanding God is the Creator of all things and opening all thoughts of reverence and awe to God for Who He Is where our thankfulness proceeds our thoughts.

Most likely everyone of us, including this author on many occasions, have felt a sense of God's presence and our own selves' unworthiness that is only over come because of Jesus Christ being our Savior, that we have tears of sadness with joy that can have ourselves going to the floor with the humbleness that is perhaps the greatest form of worship.   Both Isaiah and Daniel had to be strengthened when confronted with the difference in their unworthiness compared to God.

Isaiah 6:5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”
Daniel 10:19 And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Many great Christians have reflected and told stories that the best times during their lives of worship have mostly been when the person was alone, rather than in Church.  This author has had the same experiences and can describe the benefit as there are no distractions and being solely with God that is an desirable wonderful loving experience.

An excerpt from the topic of being Antireligious is Correct and Required:

There are several Biblical Scholars who have stated that Jesus Christ was the most antireligious person to have ever walked on the earth.  He taught us that being religious was not what God wanted from us. This is shown in the scriptures on how Jesus Christ spoke with the religious leaders of His time, such as the Pharisees, Sadducees and Sanhedrin, as read in Matthew 23:25, Matthew 3:7 and several other passages:

Matthew 23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

God has always wanted a relationship with us that has:

1 Nothing to do with following Traditions, {Traditions can be for teaching.}
2 Nothing to do with following Rituals {Required in Old Testament Dispensation's Law.}
3 Nothing to do with going to Church, {Ten Commandments' 4th Commandment.}
4 Nothing to do with Tithing or being Charitable, and
5 Absolutely never doing penance.

because even non-Christians are doing all of these without a relationship with Jesus Christ

Most likely all of us have been in Church and seen someone who has been going to Church for years, and then that person goes up to the Alter to finally accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.  Everything before, for that person, was being done mechanically, socially, curiosity or to see if God was real.

These first four points are still worthy, have merit, have enjoyment, can be done and are good when Jesus Christ is the focus.  Note that the fifth item has never been Biblically correct.  There are forms of making restitution for damage, sins or crimes done but this is not a form of penance.

When we have a relationship with Jesus Christ:

  • Then good activities will come out of our life that are shown in our Christian Works through our Faith in God.
  • We will desire the company of other Christians that share in the love of Jesus Christ.
  • Good works that will be both pleasing to God along with ourselves, as we will enjoy doing good for others.

In Heaven Worship Will Be Uniquely Superior

From the whole of scripture, we can only imagine what Eternity Future in Heaven will be a greater type of friendship and relationship with God that is more special, intimate and loving than we can possibly understand at this time.  The description, feeling and analogy, which are similar but with perfection are used consistently in the scriptures use as idioms of marriage and of a loving parent:
  1. It will be similar to the perfect marriage where everyone will be like the bride to her husband God.
  2. It will be similar having the perfect parents that loves us and enjoys our happiness where we enjoy also love being there with them.
As stated at the start of this topic:

Our Triune God has Perfect Unity, which we will be part of in a very special way as read in John 17:20-26.

John 17:20-26 20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
1 Corinthians 15:25-28 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For “Godc has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

Many Ways to Worship

There are many ways to worship God that bring peace and joy to our lives, even when we are in the midst of trials, temptations and problems that involve suffering

This author has had several increasing experiences, during very difficult horrible periods in my life, where the knowledge and realization that Jesus Christ is watching over me, no matter what happens, has help to calm the situations coming against me.  There are always times in all of our lives the Satanic Forces in this world are:

See James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 12:12 and so many others.

James 1:2 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

When we know our lives are in the midst of being in a war-zone against our adversary, the Satanic Forces and our own sinful selfishness, then we must pray and worship daily for strength, deliverance, peace and knowledge of our God loves us.  Our lives should always be in worship in different forms of prayer talking, thanking and asking God to always be part of our lives.

Worship is always to be thought of as oneself singularly speaking, thanking and also in humble silence being in God's presence.

  1. We can be in a Church Service, Bible Study Group, and at home where other people can be with us, where when we are in worship then it is solely our focus is on God regardless of others.
  2. We can be driving a vehicle, riding a bike, running for exercise and still worship and be intercalary prayer for ourselves and others.
  3. We can be singing, listening to wonderful pleasing music that honors God, and be in perfect silence in a crowd and be worship and prayer.
  4. We can raise our hands to God, as a show of surrendering our whole person to God.

The greatest worship experience can often occur at the most mundane of times where the event may have nothing to do with the surroundings, people present, and any earthly influences.

We are to have fellowship with other Christians to strengthen each other as we join in worship and prayers.  The most important part of worship is growing in love our God.
