Wars of the Lord Reference in Numbers

There is a reference to a book named "Wars of the Lord" in Numbers 21:14-15, shown below.

Numbers 21:14 - 15 14 Wherefore it is said in the book of the Wars of Jehovah, Vaheb in Suphah, And the valleys of the Arnon, 15 And the slope of the valleys That inclineth toward the dwelling of Ar, And leaneth upon the border of Moab.

There are two detail theories concerning the book:

  1. The Book of the Wars of the Lord is possibly a collection of poems and victory songs that may have been written around 1100 BCE
  2. The Book is possibly the same as the Book of Jasher.

There are other Books mentioned in the Scriptures, which we do not have copies.

Two Armageddon Events

This is an excerpt from the Armageddon Topic:

Armageddon, from the scriptural perspective, is when the world's armies attempt go to war against God.  There are two scriptural Armageddon events and God eliminates the armies without a battle that gives Glory to God.
