Book of the Wars of the Lord
It is a set of non-canonical books referenced in the Bible which have been completely lost. There is a mention of the Book in Numbers 21:14 - 15:
(14) That is why the Book of the Wars of the Lord says:
“. . . Zahabd in Suphah and the ravines, the Arnon
(15) and the slopes of the ravines that lead to the settlement of Ar and lie along the border of Moab.”
It is the theory that this Book of the Wars of the Lord are a collection of poems and victory songs that may have been written around 1100 BCE. There is another theory it is the same as the Book of Jasher.
