Disinformation

One of the many weapons used in espionage in times of war and also cold wars, is to use disinformation and propaganda with the intention of having enemies spend time, money and human resources on:

1. Activities that have no benefit, or
2. Will distract the enemy from noticing the real intentions and targets. 

As one example of many, suppose there are two Countries "A" and "B" at war where Country "A" has a secret agent in the Country "B".

• Country "B" knows that Country "A" has a secret agent in their country but cannot find this secret agent and needs to stop the secret agent from being productive.
• Country "A" knows that it cannot use mail, cell phones, text messages or emails to communicate with their secret agent in Country "B" because then Country "B" will use cyber-tracking technology to easily find the identity and location of the secret agent.
• Country "A" is using messages that are encrypted with double meanings on a Blog Website to communicate with the secret agent.  Country "B" has a belief that this is how communication is being done but cannot always discern which Blog Replies are real.  Additionally, if Country "B" stops the Blog Website then they will lose the possibility to locate and find out what the secret agent is communicating.

The solution to Country "B" 's problem is to put relies on the Blog Website that look like they are coming from Country "A" which has different contradictory instructions and false information to make the spy waste time on activities that are not helpful to Country "A".  Country "B" will make the counterfeit Blog Replies in a very careful way to still make the secret agent believe the Blog Replies are coming from Country "A".

Lucifer is the father of lies and used deception to have 1/3 of the angels follow him, then he used it on Eve in the Garden of Eden.  Lucifer, and those who follow him, are still using disinformation, lies and propaganda today to lead as many as they can away from God and the true salvation knowledge through Jesus Christ.

There are many religions and books, like the Book of Enoch, that are designed with this purpose of deception and disinformation.  The Book of Enoch contain some historical information which is true and then a great deal of disinformation with the purpose of having the reader believe something that is not true along with attacking the Character of God and our relationship with God.

Not a Canonical Book

The Book of Enoch is not considered cannon for many, many reasons:

• The true authorship is not known.
• The authorship cannot be attributed to have been written by Enoch who lived before the Great Flood.
• There is no reference in the Book of Genesis or the entire Bible, that Noah carried a book written by Enoch with him onto the Ark.
• There are no references in the Scriptures, that Moses considered the book as scriptural or referenced it.  In fact, what Moses wrote contradicts what the book of Enoch contains.
• The verse numbering that appears in the book of Enoch, was added at some point to give the book credence.  The Old and New Testament did not get numbering of verses until much later.
• Those who believe the book is inspired is based on one passage that appears to quote Deuteronomy 33:2 where
  (a) That is not enough to prove it is inspired.
  (b) Also shows that it was not written prior to the Great Flood as the context of the verse is Moses is speaking about the guarding of Israel before his own death.

  Deuteronomy 33:2	He said, “The LORD came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us; he shone forth from Mount Paran; he came from the ten thousands of holy ones, with flaming fire at his right hand
  	1:19 “Behold, He will arrive with ten million of the kodesh ones in order to execute judgment upon all. He will destroy the wicked ones and censure all flesh on account of everything that they have done, that which the sinners and the wicked ones committed against HIM.”

• The Book of Enoch has hundreds of errors, contradictions against itself and the Bible, where there are too many to even list.  Here are three quick ones:
  (a) Not logical such as Enoch writes about Noah where Enoch is Raptured before Noah is even born.
  (b) In 41:5, Enoch claims to have seen the "chambers" of the "Sun, and the Moon", where they go out.

  41.5 And I saw the Chambers of the Sun and the Moon, where they go out, and where they return. And their glorious return; and how one is more honored than the other is. ..

  (c) In chapter 32:2 it claims that Enoch wrote down all of the stars names down.  This is impossible.

  32:2. To the east of these beasts I perceived the extremities of the earth, where heaven ceased. The gates of heaven stood open, and I beheld the celestial stars come forth. I numbered them as they proceeded out of the gate, and wrote them all down, as they came out one by one according to their number. I wrote down their names altogether, their times and their seasons, as the angel Uriel, who was with me, pointed them out to me.

  In Genesis 15:5, God is telling Abram that it will be impossible to number the stars in heaven "And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Interesting points about the book:

• Most likely written in the time period of 300 to 200 BC where additions were added to it around 100 BC.
• The book was known about by the Jewish and Christian Communities before and after the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.  In the present day, we take for granted that any book, written recently, is common so it is not important.  This was not always true and many manuscripts at the time of Jesus Christ would have been valued even when it was fictional literature, such as the Greek epic poem Iliad.
• The book is considered a historical reference that contains some valuable thoughts that convey thinking of that period of time.
• Understanding the beliefs in a fictional document can also help in verifying or conveying interpretation of words and phrases in ancient manuscripts.

One other point concerning Enoch of the antediluvian period being attributed or creating something else is the belief that Enoch built the Great Pyramid, which this author does not believe either.

Narrow Gate

It has been noted by a prominent Biblical Scholar that the way to lead people away from the truth of the scriptures is to present other ways to supposedly reach God.  The world has many religions that present themselves as being the truth and also have tenants that are admirable and worthy but the only religion in the world that states that mankind is incapable of reaching God by actions of their own is Christianity. 

When the great Patriarchs gathered to evaluate a document and see if it inspired and worthy of being in the canon, then we know that God participated, guided and guarded the process.  The proof is there when the 66 books of over 40 authors are harmonized along with encryptions being found by computer algorithms.

Not a Reference in Jude

In the book of Jude 1:14-15, there is a reference to Enoch which quotes Enoch for stating the Lord will come with His 10,000s Saints to judge the inhabitants of the world.  When kept in context to the whole book of Jude, the message is clearly about the pattern and history of the world which has contained those who live for themselves and entertain the lusts of their flesh for their own selfish desires.  It is not a reference to the Book of Enoch.

Additionally, we know from Genesis 5:24, that Enoch was Raptured after 300 years of walking with in Faith with God.  Noah spent 120 years building the Ark where the two men would have had testimony of warning to the inhabitants of that time.
