The Royal Family line leading to the Messiah

Lineage of Jesus Christ according to Luke and Matthew is shown below.  In Luke 3:23, notice that Joseph became the adopted son of Heli according to Jewish law established with the agreement with the Daughters of Zelophehad.  Heli is highlighted in light green below, in the chart, which makes Joseph and then Jesus's part of the lineage of King David though Nathan.  This also fulfills the prophecy of Genesis 3:15

Luke 3:23 Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.

** Rahab Was the Prostitute that was saved in Jericho when Joshua invaded Jericho and the two "spies" saved her.  Rahab is part of the Royal Blood Line of Jesus Christ.  A Gentile Bride of Salmon.  A model of Jesus Christ being our redeemer.
* Pharez Is the son that Judah has illegitimately with Tamar.  Tamar is a Gentile Bride.  Tamar has two sons Pharez and Zarah.  Pharez was the first born.
*** Ruth Was a Moabite and a Gentile.  Boaz selected her as his Gentile Bride.  Boaz's example was his father Salmon who married Rahab, so he knew he could do this.  As part of the larger story of the Book, Boaz purchases the land for Naomi and takes Ruth as a bride.  Book of Ruth is an awesome book of Boaz being the Kinsman Redeemer.
**** 3 Kings Blotted out for worshipping idols
***** Cursed Concerning Jeconiah, God said  in Jeremiah 22:30 - "Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah."

Joseph Adopted

Joseph, the legal father of Jesus Christ, had his blood lineage go through Jeconiah which had the blood curse pronounced on it.  By the bloodline of Mary, the curse did not apply because in Luke Gospel, Mary's lineage with through another son of King David named Nathan and then goes down to Heli.  Many scholars point out that Jesus Christ's can have a claim to both the Blood Line and the throne of King David without the blood curse because Joseph became the son by law through Heli.

Read the blood curse link which deals with the 6 names highlighted in red.
