Background

According to inferred history, the Italian physicist Enrico Fermi at a lunch with friends in the year 1950 came up with the idea:

The problem with believing that the Earth is the most advanced, is the Earth's population of mankind has only been around for a short time, so taking into consideration the age of the proposed Universe at some 13.8 billion years, then if there are Alien Civilizations, then they would have already set up an empire easily in 100 million years. The empire should include the Earth easily by now, as 100 million years is a very short time compared to 13.8 billion years.  Enrico reportedly then asks the question of "where is everybody?".
