Bad breath, chronic halitosis, is caused by many innocuous things that do not indicate a health problem. For example, eating a great tasting food that contains a great deal of garlic may cause bad breath.

There are many health professionals who state that germ and bad breath fighting liquids such as Listerine are bad for a person because they also kill the good bacteria that are in a person's mouth.
