Introduction

There are numerous definitions of racism and cultural prejudice.  This topic is not dealing with the definition, blame, problems now or the problems in the past.  This is about the Satanic Forces that use many weapons, such as the Media, to cause hatred, mistrust and of course crime and violence.

Arguably, many people believe with good reasons, state that the Media is merely likely a prostitute because they broadcast and publish information based on the gaining of financial revenues and also in such a way to persuade and shape opinion based on who is paying them.  (This also applies to Politicians.)  The perceived problem is exacerbated because of empirical evidence of the general populous being ignorant and apathetic to discern facts and truth from rumors, innuendos and information omitted.

Note: It is this author's opinion and a partial reworded excerpt from the Political Party Allegiance Topic:
  1. That no matter what is said publicly by a Politician in speeches or seen in the Media concerning any person from any Political Party, it is impossible for Politicians to not eventually become corrupted, willingly or unwillingly.   Choosing otherwise means the Politician will be stopped during the election or re-election process, by different entities in power.  These power entities collectively, while different from one-another and compete with one another, are control everything, so that a Politician has to ally themselves with one or more of them.
    (a) A Politician has a choice to accept financial compensation, outside of their salary, for doing actions for specific power groups that are behind the scenes, or by not accepting, the Politician becomes a target to be replaced.
    (b) The higher the public office for the Politician, there are vulnerabilities that will be exploited concerning any type of unethical and immoral proclivity that can be used as part of a type of political blackmail that is done in what is called a dossier.  J Edgar Hoover is best known in history for creating dossiers on political enemies.
    (c) At the worst level, there has been sporadic cases of Politicians and assistants to Politicians, having their lives ended by mysterious and sudden medical conditions that appear ordinary on the surface, when previous medical checkups showed no signs.
  2. It has become impossible for anyone of any Political Party to do anything to stop the corruption that has taken over the positions of office from the local to the federal level.   One Political Party, may appear to be more corrupt, from what is partially seen and heard from the Media, but all Politicians serve different power groups, where the power groups hold no political party allegiance, as their goals are financial and power gains.
  3. Unfortunately, most of the Media is also completely corrupted, with exception of small independent sources, because the people in power behind the scenes, learned multiple decades ago that by purchasing and controlling the Media, then this allowed the process of misinformation to shape people's opinions. The tools are using half-truths, omissions, false wording, and outright deception.
    (a) Do a search on YouTube and there are numerous examples of TV Stations all repeating the same scripted dialogues.

The Media Problem

In the Media, unfortunately there is a great deal of misinformation designed on purpose and then there is the small part done with the best intentions.  As much as it is hard to believe, the Media is knowingly causing increased racism and cultural prejudices which anyone can judge by the results.  Additionally, when trying with the best intentions, more often than not, the Media causes the opposite negative affect.   It can be argued that the Media's intentions are also to drive up ratings and increased viewers by starting controversies in all areas.

The media is often the tool of an incompetent or oppressive government systems.  It is done by diverting the public's attention on to other areas of real, minor or imagined problems so that more significant problems are not noticed.  Additionally, the diversions are also done to aid a Political Party.  The has been observed in many countries besides the USA.  War is often a companion tool to divert the general public from noticing corruption in governments.

Some worthy quotations from Mark Twain to frame this topic:

  1. Never tell the truth to people who are not worthy of it.
  2. If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you're miss-informed.
  3. Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it.
  4. A half-truth is the most cowardly of lies.

Anonymous:

It is possible to tell the truth, but speak with deception by the omission of facts and information.

History of the world is replete with racial and cultural prejudice, slavery, murder and all sorts of victimization that no single racial or cultural group can claim superiority over another.   Unfortunately, much of the population in the present time are myopic.  The general public looks at current problems and make the rationalizations that are causing hatred to be passed down from generation to generation with escalation of violence, crime and even a further dependence upon a support system which fosters the continuation of hatred and distrust.

A quick example of one-sided information in Media reporting is that the education system is favoring more affluent income areas than less affluent areas.  The Media sites lower test scores and the reason is less money spent in the less affluent areas.  What is not reported, besides other areas, are the following:

  1. Failure to Report: A specific minority group as of 2017, immigrating in the last 50 years to the USA, does exceedingly well, even it they are part of a less affluent school system and they go on to higher levels of education with a higher percentage of Masters, PhDs, and MDs by ethnicity than all other members of other ethnicities or cultural groups.  This is never reported because of the way it would be reported would have a negative connotation towards every other racial or cultural groups.  If the media would simply add an explanation, then it would not be perceived as racist or cultural prejudice.  The simple research has shown that this specific minority group takes a very involved participation in their children's education process by working with them on homework and making sure their children spent adequate time on their studies.  This group is the Asian immigrants and their first -generation offspring.
  2. Lowest common denominator syndrome: Money is often explained as the root of the problem in the poor results of our entire undergraduate school systems and especially in less affluent areas.  The United States non-college level education system fluctuates in ranking as one of the lowest in the civilized world and yet we already spend more per student than all of the competing countries.  The real problem is because of the pursuit of making all children feel good about themselves and slowing down the learning process to accommodate all students.  This thwarts the ability for students to learn and achieve more.  This problem is sometimes called lowest common denominator syndrome.  The proof of it is evidenced by Home Schoolers who consistently far exceed and embarrass the public-school system on achievement testing where often Home Schoolers are learning at the college level in their early teenage years.

Summary information:

Improper reporting by the Media, in the area of racism and cultural prejudice often occurs in at least two forms:

  1. One sided information without reporting both sides.
  2. Naming only one specific group as being capable of racism or cultural prejudice.

In the United States, for example in the year 2015, there have been several Media news outlets reporting about people from one ethnicity being shot by police.  (Other ethnicities being shot by the police are very rarely ever mentioned.)  The news stories from 2015 often:

  1. Omit the other resulting news stories caused by the initial coverage,
  2. Purposely not showing what the person was doing that caused the police to shoot the person,
  3. Do not show that the law enforcement officer(s) were of the same ethnicity as the person shot,
  4. Quote statistics which are taken out of context to imply a meaning which causes negative emotions.

Police shootings, justified or not justified, cause:

  1. Shootings across the country against Police, which can be linked to the Media's news story.
  2. Reverse racial and cultural revenge robberies, rapes, vandalism, destruction of property, bodily physical harm and murders dramatically increase across the country directly following the Media's news story.

The statistics in the above two categories are sometimes either hard to find or the statistics are not reported on the main Media Outlets.  Arguably, maybe the statistics should be given to help curb the revenge crimes and murders.  To make matters even worse, when someone is caught committing any of the revenge crimes, the Media in 2015 more often than not add on opinions such as:

  1. That "blame the victim" for the crime, or
  2. Justify the reasoning by the criminal because they believe others are against them based on their ethnicity or their culture.

The other problem that is not reported accurately, is the actual statistics on how many of police actions causing death are because of abuse of power and ego.  In other words, the police officer is using his/her position in an criminal way against someone.  This clearly is a problem but it should not be confused with racism or cultural prejudice in every single case.  Additionally, there are incidents of unjustified police related deaths that were done by a police officer against their own ethnicity which are reported as:

  1. Hate crimes based on race when they should be reported as abuse of power, or
  2. Prejudice against culture, income level or perceived intellectual level.

Sadly, there is the observed deliberate silencing of voices from the victim's racial or cultural group, who speak out against revenge crimes and also against miss-information spoken by (a) the Media, (b) leaders of racial or cultural groups who make their income off of polarization of racial and cultural groups.  The Media will find people to drive up viewership rating by airing interviews from people who say "those spokespersons represent us in our racial or cultural group need to be given the benefit of doubt on their statements because of the good things they have done in the past.

The Media in whole, is in fear of not being politically correct (saying something to offend specific groups).  Way too often, the Media outlets give radical spokespeople the platform to make ethnicity statements against others ethnicities without truth and facts accountability.  Clearly there are great men and women who are unquestionably doing outstanding work to fix problems dealing with racism and cultural prejudices!

The problem is there are other men and women who are monetarily motivated, where with careful examination, will show that their income is based on false accusations, innuendos, strife and other negatives.  When these men and women speak, their motivation is to keep themselves in power, obtain more power and acquire more money monetary benefits which requires a never-ending ethnicity and cultural problem to speak about.

Movie and TV Industry

Lastly, the Media is not the only entity whose actions work against racial and cultural harmony and acceptance.  A great deal of the Movie and TV entertainment industry has so many examples that it defies any excuse other than it being deliberate.   It makes no sense when their actions actually cost them revenues yet they proceed to continue with the same course of action that portrays one ethnicity is always being prejudice.

Also regarding the Film and TV industries, is there is a negative bias towards the Christian Faith?  The answer is overwhelmingly "yes".  A quick example is the two movies: The Flood (2014 - Russell Crowe) and Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014 - Christian Bale) which are examples of ignoring the written text in the Bible and even mock the Bible.  Both movies offended the primary audience that would have seen the movie and bought the DVD which caused loss of revenue.   Note that the cinematography and acting are excellent in these two movies but the problem is their failure to use the Biblical account.

What does the Bible say about racism and prejudices?

The Bible is explicitly clear about loving one another no matter the ethnicity, gender, age and culture.  Some scriptures references:

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Mark 12:31 The second is this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  There is no other commandment greater than these."
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Romans 2:11 For God shows no partiality.
