The Application section contains all of the information that is required to
support all of the Applications, Systems and Processes (APPS) at your company.
The main screen shows a grid of the APPS which can be searched, sorted and
filtered. From this screen, you can open up multiple child windows showing
the details. Each detail screen shows not only shows the details that you
would expect but has additional vital information in grids which can be opened
to further details. Also note that all APPS can be a parent or a child to
other APPS. APPS are defined as Software Applications, Systems contains multiple Software Applications, Processes such as Documentation and Components such as Microsoft Visual Studio. All APPS are further defined into the type of: "Website", "Executable", "Service", "Scheduled Job", "DLL", "InfoPath", "Form", "Report" and "Documentation". This allows al APPS to be quickly searched, linked and organized. Here are some the additional features that can be defined and stored for APPS: |
